A range of experimental UI functions designed and built as games prototypes - solving a design problem is easiest if you first break the mechanics of what you're trying to do down to it's simplest form, then rebuild in as few steps as possible. Spinspun shown below was originally a coin toss game concept, I broke down the possible outcomes of a double coin toss (two heads, two tails, one of each) and rebuilt it as a roulette wheel with the interaction design of the old iPod wheel. Spin clockwise to increase your stake, counter clockwise to decrease, tap to play and hold to speed up the 'coins' - the result was a pleasing but simple gambling game focused on interaction.
